We are thrilled to announce that Civil Survey Solutions will be participating in IPWEA’s International Public Works Conference (IPWC) 2024, an event held every two years that unites stakeholders from the public works sector across Australasia and beyond. This year, the conference is set to take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, located at South Wharf, Victoria, from April 30th to May 3rd. The central theme of this year’s conference, “Adaptation: Thriving in a New World,” highlights the critical need for adaptation and growth within the constantly evolving landscapes of public works and engineering.

Civil Survey Solutions will be exhibiting our Autodesk and Civil Survey Applications software solutions. We are also proud to announce that two of our team members who will be delivering presentations at the IPWC 2024.

Shane O’Rorke will be presenting “GIS Data: The more you have the more you can communicate” on Tuesday, 30th April at 2.30pm. This session will delve into the integration challenges of as-constructed data for new assets and the management of design projects, alongside exploring council-led initiatives like Aspec and ADAC. 

Matt Rumbelow will be presenting “Constructing the future: BIM for Civil Engineers” On Thursday 2nd of May at 11am. This session will outline the significance of BIM for Civil Engineers, the role of IFC, and highlight current and future toolsets within the Autodesk workflow.
