While I was in Las Vegas I met directly with regional and global Autodesk leaders responsible for AEC technology, and we talked candidly about where the industry is going and what customers here actually need from it. Those relationships are why we can see further ahead than a release notes summary allows.

Autodesk wants AI pushed deeper into both desktop and cloud applications, so the intelligence meets you inside the tools you already use every day. The aim is to democratise access to project data. By putting the right information in front of designers, engineers and managers at the moment they make a decision. Better decisions, made earlier, with less friction.

Two Announcements Worth Circling

Forma Street Design is on the way, aimed squarely at early-stage urban road planning where options are cheap to test and expensive to get wrong.

Autodesk Assistant Steps Out on Its Own

Autodesk Assistant is evolving into a standalone application. Breaking it out of individual software silos will provide an entire new layer of productivity improvements. Rather than one assistant per product, you get a connective layer across data, AI and project tools that spans the wider Autodesk ecosystem. Less chatbot, more project-wide intelligence.
